    Daniel has experience working with athletes and coaches at the following competitive levels: Youth, Junior, High School, Collegiate (NCAA Divisions I, II and III), Elite Amateur, Professional, and Olympic Medalist.

    He has coached since 2011 and his certifications include USA Triathlon Level 2, Level 1, and Youth and Junior Elite.

    Daniel’s journey as a coach and a trainer has brought him around the world, presenting him with new and exciting opportunities to work with a diverse and impressive group of clients and athletes. Some of his experiences include:

    • Training 2 Olympic Silver Medalists (2020/2021 Tokyo Olympics) at US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs with the USAT Collegiate Recruitment Program

    • Professional Elite Coach for 8 professional athletes at the World Triathlon Series Abu Dhabi triathlon in the United Arab Emirates in 2018

    • USA Triathlon Representative at US Olympic Committee High-Performance Coaching Workshop at Princeton University in 2017

    • Witness USA win their first Olympic gold medal in triathlon at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

    Hailing from New York City, Daniel has a wide range of certifications, competition experiences, and personal coaching accomplishments across many distinguished fields.

    As an athlete, Daniel has won and placed in an array of short-course triathlons and single-sport races, namely 1st in the Olympic division at the 2014 Stamford Triathlon, 1st in the Sprint division & 2nd overall at the 2014 Sleepy Hollow Triathlon, qualified for the NYC Triathlon open division with a 2-hour and 13-minute Olympic distance race time in 2014, and has raced the USA Triathlon National Championships on multiple occasions. Although still immersed in the Triathlon community, Daniel shifted his focus to full time coaching in 2015.

    As a trainer, Daniel has helped countless clients reach their fitness goals and athletic ambitions, including multiple clients losing over 100 pounds of body fat while learning multiple new sport skills. Whether it’s teaching an 11 year-old how to ride a bike or a 78 year-old how to swim, Daniel’s determination to help people fuels his interest and passion.

    Recently establishing himself in Charleston, South Carolina, Daniel is thrilled at his momentum and looks forward to continuing on this exhilarating journey.

    Wele is the old English word for well-being, happiness and prosperity. It is the appropriate word description for Daniel’s ultimate goal for every client and athlete he works with. To have well-being in sport and life is the principle Daniel strives to establish through being “wele trained.”
